For many years the Cullen's, all vampires have been living peacefully in the sleepy little town of Forks. Living in the Cullen household are Carlisle and Esme with their four adopted children Edward, Emmett, Rosalie and Alice.

But what of Jasper, you ask? Well, he is arriving in Forks, Washington for the first time in his life.

Upon Jasper's first day at a new school, Forks High he immediately falls in love with Alice, there's just one problem: Cassian. Unknown to Jasper, Cassian is a vampire and dating Alice. Cassian has the power to manipulate minds. He wants Alice and uses his power on her to make sure she will want him in return. Due to this, Jasper can't make a move or try to show his love for Alice as Cassian has already threatened him, if he can't have Alice then nobody will.

As Alice starts to fall for Jasper, Cassian builds up an army of immortal children to threaten the Cullen's in any way he can in order to win back Alice's heart for himself. One immortal child named Annabel, befriends Cassian and starts to make friends with the Cullen's telling them of Cassian's plans to win Alice back.

Because of this, the Volturi and Quilettes start to get involved and blame the Cullen's for starting an army of immortal children, all because Alice is seeing Cassian.

Meanwhile, Royce King, one of the most popular guys at Forks High is trying to win Rosalie's heart and threatening Emmett by forcing him to give in and hand Rosalie over to him instead.

The Denali sisters are also arriving in Forks to help their Olympic Coven friends.While in Forks one sister named Tanya tries every way she knows to distract Edward Cullen from his lonely life of not having a soul mate.

This is until Bella Swan arrives and Edward immediately falls for her, causing Tanya to be in distress and jealous of Bella.

All this trouble causes the Cullen family to fall apart and none of them know where they stand anymore.
